I initially applied to the Marketing Communications Internship, and after my resume and cover letter were submitted, I was asked to complete a one-way virtual interview (HireVue). I got an email from one of the recruiters that I made it on to the next step, and set up a time to complete a virtual interview with the Communications Manager for the department through Microsoft Teams (due to COVID). Interview was short and pleasant, I was asked to talk about my background, what I wanted out of the internship, and what I saw myself doing in the future. No tough questions were asked and it was more of a free-flowing conversation, lasted about 25 min.
After the Comm. Manager reviewed my interview, she transferred me to the Digital Marketing department for another 1:1 interview with the Digital Marketing Head because my background is steeped in Digital Marketing and Analytics, so she thought it might be a better fit. I completed the interview with the Digital Marketing dept. for the Digital Marketing Internship role, and it was really pleasant, similar experience of talking about my background, what I wanted out of the role, and what I could bring to the table. Both interviews were great and you could tell how happy the interviewers were to work for SE.
Less than a week later, I was sent an offer letter.
Overall, excellent experience. Great people to talk to, relaxed environment, and I could tell they had my best interest at heart and wanted me to grow to my fullest potential. They took the time to really get to know me and answer my questions, while also looking at all opportunities and what would be my best fit. 100% recommend interviewing here!
