There were in total 3 rounds of interview. Firstly HR called for initial discussion, second there was a Manager round and final interview was with Director. Interview was completed in a span of 1 week. After the interview I checked with HR on feedback and after couple of follow ups HR mentioned I was not Selected. The issue I want to highlight here is adaption of fair policies during interview. Firstly if I was rejected after Managerial round why was an interview with Director scheduled? Second in the Director interview I was literally given a commitment that I have been selected for the role. Why was I give a false hope during the interview and that too from someone who is the decision maker in the company. I asked for feedback from HR as to why my profile got rejected and I received no answer. It seems the interview was conducted just for the sake of conducting interview and the role was filled internally. A message to the recruitment team that please do respect the time and effort each interviewee puts in during an interview and avoid wasting their time and giving them false hope if you are closing your positions internally.
