The interview process goes fast, however the experience really sucks as there is no feedback for the rejection and there is no recruiter to organize the interview through the process. They asked me to book the flight and hotel for the onsite interview myself. It's really bad that they asked me to complete the design exercise to improve their current product even though they said that they won't plan on improve the current product. When I was in the onsite interview, the team spent lots of time talking and discussing about my design solution and they've shown great interests in those ideas and asked me elaborate on that. After one week, the team gave me the rejection without any specific feedback, which made me feel like they just asked me to do some free work for them to improve their product and kick me out after stealing my ideas.
I would advice any applicant be mindful of sharing your own thoughts on their product.

Question 1
How will you improve the current ServiceNow current product?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ServiceNow (Santa Clara, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
Applied through glassdoor. Received a phone interview. Lasted about an hour. In person interview two weeks later. Lasted for about 4-5 hours, each hour with a different person. Did one design challenge. Replicate a wireframe.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ServiceNow in Apr 2014
Interview
Too long and the team doesn't understand what UX designer does. They think it's a software engineer position. After I was told an offer would be extended I was told I need to talk to the VP of Engineering. He was in a rush to fly out of town so he was on the phone half of the time. He decided that the fact that I do not know how to solve math algorithms will make me a crappy UX designer and he decided to can my offer. What a joke!
