I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Siemens
Interview
The interview was panel based. Each member had a list of behavioural or situational questions ready. In the beginning I was given a brief introduction of the position. Then proceeded to ask questions and I was informed to answer as best as possible and if needed I could come back to one. Very professional and a little hard in the beginning, but as the questions kept coming, it became more relaxing and easier to have a conversation.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Siemens (Tianjin, Tianjin) in Nov 2014
Interview
Referred by a previous intern, face to face interview with the manager, simply questions, all about experience and flexibility. The interviewer is nice, what they care most is whether you can make this internship for whole six months.
Applied online and received an interview within few weeks. The interview consisted on some classic behavioral questions such as Describe a time in which... and mainly asked about things on the resume and elaborate on the projects and leadership positions that appeared on the resume. They went on and talked about the projects done that were in the resume
