I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Snap (London, England) in Mar 2023
Interview
One call with a member of the machine learning team. The interview was 60 minutes long, split into 30 minutes of coding exercises and 30 minutes of machine learning questions. No discussion on the role. The whole process felt just like an exam, with almost no interaction with the team member and just a sequence of questions and answers. If being rejected, they won't share interview feedback.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Snap in May 2022
Interview
Went through the screen and virtual onsite. Most interviewers are extremely technical and are pretty bad communicators. They don't seem very engaged with the product and they have a very academic understandings of ML. Recruiters were hard to get a hold of and unclear about expectations. Not surprised their company isn't doing well.
