I had an initial round with HR and the recruiter came off quite abrasive. He eventually asked me what my current salary was, not realizing this was against CA Law (California Labor Code 432.3). After telling him this was out of bounds, he continued to press and said he "just wanted to make sure what they would offer me is fair to everyone else". I finally had enough and told him that what he was doing was illegal. The rest of the interview was him asking what I was leaving on the table if I had left and him telling me it was not possible for Syneos to cover - ie: no tuition reimbursement, bonus, etc. VERY unprofessional and quite frankly an embarrassment.
