Synopsys R&D Engineer interview questions

It was a 45-minute telephonic conversation. I was first asked to solve a question on data structures on a whiteboard. This was followed by questions from my resume. I was then asked to explain certain Machine Learning questions in layman terms.

Two telephonic interviews. One was purely on Hardware and the other on Software. The first one was by the hiring manager and the other by a team member with more software skills. Both the interviewers were helpful and were open about the hiring process. They promptly got back to me after the interviews. After the informal offer, had another call from the HR. Discussed the work, some behavioral questions and was confirmed the offer at the end of the call.
