I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TP (Killeen, TX) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied online and was immediately contacted by the recruiting director via email, inviting me to attend an open interview event taking place over several days. When I arrived, there was a handful of other people waiting. I signed in at the desk, and within a few minutes a group of us were taken to a separate computer area to do the skills testing (IT questions, spelling/grammar, and a typing test). They require 25 WPM minimum, which is pretty easy to do. I passed easily and returned to waiting. Before too long I was taken to an initial interview with a recruiter, where I answered some basic questions. Since I wanted to work full-time, I was asked to return for a second interview a week later.
When I returned, I waited for a while, eventually spoke to a supervisor for the department in which I'd be working, and after another brief interview, was told I'd be accepted for the job. Much waiting later, those of us who were receiving offers were eventually taken to finalize everything, have our pictures taken for employee IDs and do on-site drug testing.
The interview was held in two rounda, one was Hr and and another was Manager Round. The Hr round was very Basic but the Manager round was a good one, they checked communication skills through this rounda, then we had basic tests like typing speed test and some English grammaticall tests.
I filled out a job application. I answered assessments. I got a zoom link in email to go to meeting. I got the run around arounds. It is a waste of my time.
Interview was quick, had some tech issues but nothing too bad. Questions were direct, and prompted with an AI assistant which felt a little uncanny valley. Overall, process went smoothly but maybe it would be better to just have the questions written and recorded to listen to, rather than the AI assistant video
