I applied directly through walk-in. Submitted my CV at the reception and sat on the chair. My name was called after 15 minutes and there was a guy who started asking my qualifications. I wanted to apply for a day shift and not the night one. The HR guy asked me to go for night shift as the salary options areuch better in the night. But I refused.
Then I was marked for a day client account.
The next day there was a splendid interview and I got selected. There's not much effort required to get into support role almost anywhere because BPOs are so eager to get the people for these positions.
