First off thank you Glassdoor for having this information available. I too did the group informational call then received a f/u email to complete application. One of the first questions they ask is for your SSN. I am not comfortable supplying this information especially if there isn't an earnest job offer. I sent an email explaining this to the recruiter and asked before proceeding if she could please provide out of pocket details for insurance. I never heard back. But by the looks of things on Glassdoor I'm glad I didn't waste any more time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No interview questions since I wouldn't give my SSN.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TP (Airdrie, Schottland) in Mar 2017
Interview
They called me from a call centre with a Slough number first of all and told me I applied for a job and would I be interested in taking a telephone interview.
I thought it sounded like a scam at first, answered questions about my work history and they said I sounded confident on the phone.. they put me on hold and said they were going to "ask their recruiter" if I qualified to come into the second part of the interview.
The whole thing sounded scammy, like a sales call and I was already on my guard.
Anyone who receives this initial call should know exactly what I mean..
I was invited to see them in Airdrie and noticed the big "recruiting now" banner on the front of the building which screamed out "high staff turnover"
About 12 people were sat in the main reception all called in to the call floor into a booth and were told that the job was outbound sales as well as inbound. Not inbound as was originally advertised.
It was obvious they told us it was inbound to get us through the door. Then they told us the money was not going to be as advertised either. But the job was there if we wanted it. Told us we had other benefits of working there but I have not seen any since I started... so not even sure they exist.
You are given a piece of paper to write down notes and you are given a scenario about a woman returning a printer or a lawnmower, and what you would have to do in that situation.. even if you don't do well you would get the job..
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TP (Rom) in Apr 2013
Interview
First phone call and then talk in the office. I was not taken, but the interview was still easy. They make you feel comfortable and they are very kind and nice.
