I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TP (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2018
Interview
*** This is an update to my previous review, https://www.glassdoor.ca/Interview/Teleperformance-Interview-RVW18782022.htm ***
Thanks to Agnes and other HR folks in the Toronto office, I am happy to say that my previous low rating is no longer an accurate reflection of the Teleperformance interview process.
A few days after I submitted the original review, where I expressed concerns that the second interview had not accurately assessed me, Agnes (the recruiter whom I had dealt with at the beginning of the process) reached out to me in order to better understand what had happened and why I was not satisfied. She openly mentioned that she had seen my review on Glassdoor, and
I was happy to talk to her and explain the concerns I had, and she took them very seriously. She then scheduled me to come in to interview for a different campaign (but same job title / salary) which I did today, and it was an excellent experience.
(An important note: Yes, I got the job, but even if I hadn't I would be posting this. I am beyond impressed that they cared enough about the quality of their hiring process to figure out who had posted the original review and reach out - I had posted it anonymously. And I am also impressed that they gave me the benefit of the doubt and brought me back in to try again after we had discussed the previous interview in depth)
The format of this particular interview (for me it was my 3rd interview, but for most candidates it was their 1st or 2nd), was a simple group interview specifically geared toward a Samsung inbound troubleshooting / support role. They went around the room and we had to answer some simple questions about ourselves and how we viewed the role of a Customer Service Representative - I cannot provide interview questions that are specific to the Samsung campaign as I signed a confidentiality agreement, but what I can say is that the questions were pretty open ended and it seemed like they just wanted to get to know us a bit, rather than trying to assess anything super specific. If you are comfortable speaking in front of a group you will do fine!
Starting training on Monday morning and looking forward to it :)
