I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TP (Irmo, SC) in Feb 2013
Interview
The hiring process can be a bit lengthy. It begins with a typing test that requires a minimum of 25 wpm (which is quite low for a customer service field), and then a computer based customer service exam. Once you have satisfactorily passed both of those, the interview process will begin. Your first interview will be with a Lead Recruiter. During the interview process, you will have another candidate interviewing with you. Once the Lead Recruiter has determined that they want to move you forward in the process, your file will be passed on to a current supervisor who will take you on a tour of the facility and answer any questions you might have for them. At this point, you are supposed to be sat with a group of agents for a short period of time to observe calls. This did not happen during my interview. Now the supervisor will perform the second round of interviews. If you are successful during this one as well, you will then be given an offer of employment and asked to complete the background check consent form, the I-9 and W-2 documents, and then be asked to go complete your drug screening. You will then be asked to choose a schedule that will become yours after the training period.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were rather generic, and there was no one questions that I would state seemed difficult compared to the run-of-the-mill set of interview questions normally asked for a customer service career.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TP (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The position was for a Call Center Customer Representative. First I had to fill out an electronic form. Then the same day, I had my first interview with one of the supervisors who immediately told me that the only positions they had was for part-time, 5-9 pm, 5 days a week, at a minimum wage. I already knew this was not going to work out for me but I stayed around in hopes that I would hear something worth staying for. The interview was easy, she asked me general questions focusing on how I would handle upset customers and if I felt comfortable with my voice being recorded and reviewed on a constant basis. When we were done I was to complete a computer test. Also she said she would call me the following week for a second interview. While I was waiting to take the electronic test another supervisor called me into his office without explanation. I assumed it was for a second interview. He went straight to asking how I would handle upset customers. So clearly the company gets many of those. After the second interview I completed the computer test which was very easy, ex. create a folder, change the background, go to a specific website etc, it was done on a PC computer. Then I was sent to a basic orientation where it was repeated that the shifts would be 5-9 pm, 5 days a week with a rotating Saturday shift. You do not get the benefits advertised unless you are full time. No vocation before 6 months of employment. You have to pay for your own headset and your criminal check. I ran out as soon as I could.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at TP (Lissabon, Lissabon) in Dec 2013

You will get a call by a recruiter who will lie to you, and afterwards you will be hired, but have less than 50% chance to get pass the training period
