I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TP (Columbia, SC) in Jul 2015
Interview
2 interviews in 1 day. if you pass the first interview you pretty much have the job. Before the two interviews you can go in person and apply they will make you take a typing test that you have three time to pass also they will give you an assessment test for the company you'll be working for like DIRECTV. The interviewers are very down to earth they ask you questions in the star format and it doesn't last very long maybe 30 minutes. Just be passionate about your answers and confident it's a fairly easy interview they offered me the job on the same day of my two interviews. One more thing during training which lasts a month they pay you minimum wage then when you get on the floor they pay you $9.50 and the pay is not negotiable so I won't be staying very long but it's good when you're starting out or if you need a job immediately while you are looking for something a bit more substantial
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TP (Killeen, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
My 1st interview was on the phone and was general attitude questions. The 2nd in-person interview started at 9am and was not done until after 1pm. They did many interviews at once, along with testing. The computerized tests were typing, proper grammar, customer service situations and a very confusing IT test. The terminology used in some of the questions seemed very confusing. I'm not a computer pro, but proficient. Didn't know if I was going to be troubleshooting computer issues or answering insurance questions. Needles to say, I passed and was moved on to the real interview. Did great. VERY casual dress....TOO casual. Weekends off for the company I would be answering calls for.
