I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Austin, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
It involved 3 Team Members and being shuffled all over the office. The only parking available was in the parking garage attached to the building (Austin, TX) and it was communicated the interviewee would be responsible for parking that they would not validate parking. It was $12.00 for an interview that lasted 1.5 hours. They should re-think this process...if someone is seeking employment they may not necessarily have $12.00 to spend on parking. My comment about the process overall, was that I was forgotten about once I had finished speaking with the third manager. I sat in the room for 10 minutes and finally walked myself out the door.
It was a disconnected interview process.

Question 1
Why do you want to work in this role with your background?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Austin, TX) in Jul 2021
Interview
Referred by current employee. Interview over the phone with recruiter (that had to be rescheduled because recruiter didn't show for our first meeting), phone interview with a manager, 2 video interviews with different managers, an interview with current team members, and finally a product demo with the hiring manager.
All of this to never hear back whether I received the job, even after following up with hiring manager twice.
