Tableau Software interview questions

Phone followed by skill check. I did not pass based on the skill check which was to do some above and beyond things with a variant superstore dataset. I feel like my answers were accurate but that I could have spiced up the presentation better in order to succeed.

Hiring was about 3 hours long. First I met with a recruiter, discussed the job, pay, benefits. We clarified some stuff on my resumé. Next was a communications test. Just to see how well you can communicate I guess. After that was a quick troubleshooting scenario, that was fun. Next up, Technical Test, see if you really know what it is you think you know. And lastly was a brief interview for culture fit with a team manager. Overall pretty fun
