I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Seattle, WA)
Interview
The process was smooth and quick although it took a 3 recruiters to set up 3 interviews. The entire process took 3 weeks. The primary recruiter does avoid email communication. The phone interview was conducted on time and lasted 30 mins. Then, i got set up for another phone interview with the hiring manager. Finally, the onsite interview with almost the entire team took 3 hours plus a test. I think the test should be done verbally and some questions should be phrased differently so that the candidate can have the chance to ask question. They were nice and super casual. You can they are very tight good. I also see they can be picky on who they pick. They want to pick the best and fits really well with the team but with their wants, salary offer and the level of competence they are looking for. It will be hard. Lastly, I received a template email from the recruiter about moving on with another candidate. I thought that was a bit insincere considering the candidate took the time. It goes both ways I think.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software in Jan 2016

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
One round on campus after career fair and two rounds on site. On campus's result was given the following Monday and then scheduled Friday's onsite. The recruiter is super helpful. First on site interviewer was a little intimidating and misleading. The second was very kind. Overall average interview.
