I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tableau Software
Interview
the process ran fast but was not very satisfying. Over 3 days of interviews, i came across people who weren't prepared for the interview at all and didn't even try to conceal their displeasure...
they even tried to convince me to take a pay cut!
overall, the interview process was ok. i wish that the interviewers were better prepared and more interested.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tableau Software (Seattle, WA) in May 2012
Interview
The position was referred to me by a friend who already is an employee at Tableau.
Initial meetings were informal and I got a debrief on the history/culture of Tableau. It seemed like a great opportunity and a great place to go.
Interview was pretty straight forward.
Phone screen with HR followed by another phone screen with the hiring manager.
A week later, I was brought in for face to face interviews with directors and CFO of the company and a peer PM. Interviews are like any other and it was an interview of each other to see if it was a good fit for both parties. Tableau seemed promising for a stage 2 start up. Strong revenue, dedicated and passionate staff.
I received positive feedback from the recruiter and received an offer a few days later.
I think I'm under NDA so I can't give details.
