1. **Application / Screening**
I applied for the System Engineer role at TCS through their campus drive. My resume and academic details were verified for eligibility before I was shortlisted for the online test.
2. **Online Assessment**
I appeared for an online test that included aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. The test lasted around 2–3 hours, and I focused on speed and accuracy to clear all sections.
3. **Technical Interview**
After clearing the test, I had a technical interview where I was asked about programming concepts, data structures, DBMS, and OOPs. The interviewer also discussed my academic projects in detail and asked me to explain the technologies I used.
4. **Managerial Round**
In this round, I faced a few situation-based and problem-solving questions. The interviewer tested my thought process, teamwork, and how I handle pressure. I also discussed my approach to solving challenges in my projects.
5. **HR Interview**
The HR round focused on my introduction, strengths, weaknesses, and reasons for choosing TCS. They asked about relocation, preferred work location, and future goals. It was a short and friendly conversation.
6. Offer and Onboarding
After clearing all rounds, I received my offer letter through the TCS NextStep portal. Once I accepted it, the onboarding process included document submission and joining formalities.
