I was selected for direct interview process for having more than 80% marks in all my exams and also all the employees from my engineering college gave outstanding business performance. Formal questions like why should they choose me for TCS.

Question 1
Academic questions were as usual like recursive function, C code for Fibonacci serial, data structure, OOP, data abstraction, garbage collection, byte code etc.

The interview consisted on 3 rounds. All included technical questions from resume. Just study your resume well and be ready for behavioural questions.
They would also ask some basic implementation on what your work was done and how did you implement that
There was only one interview round that combined technical, managerial, and HR discussions. The interview covered technical concepts, project experience, problem-solving, teamwork, career goals, and general HR questions in a smooth, well-organized process.

Not too hard. Basic programming questions. Prepare the resume properly. Data structures and algorithms . The HR interview focus on your strength and weakness. Overall it was not too difficult.
