It is very simple and usually someone with little experience in the field ask you some questions about your experience.
First, HR contact you and ask for general information, then you are asked to visit their facilities to have another interview with HR and if you fulfill some requirements then someone else (usually someone from India) do a second interview with you.

Long interview process, very technical questions
As far as TCS is concerned there is no streamlined process of hiring as most of the people in the hiring and recruitment team themselves are not clear about the right process to be followed. The ask for unnecessary documentation just makes new hires go crazy and skeptical about the validity.
