One phone interview and on-site interview.. both was easy.. very basic questions about previous employment
I was approached by recruiter and arranged phone interview with team manager. Within a week i was called to office for onsite interview. there were three people asked about basic technical question about my previous work. overall very easy process.
It was a walk-in drive and 30 mins of one on one interview then an hour for coding test. the interview was all about previous project architecture and questions about all the technology stack we used for our applications and why?

Interview
A recruiter contacted me after she got my profile in a job portal.
The opening was for ASP.NET MVC + EF position. The interview was scheduled on a saturday. 1st round- Technical. Very easy if you have worked on ASP.NET MVC. No need to bang your head on previous day about it ( I did, and it was utter waste).
2nd round- More technical+ Managerial- Again a bit advanced compared to first round but still crackable.
3rd round- HR Round- again same old HR interview questions+salary negotiation.
After 10 days i was called for a client round at TCS Bangalre office.
The client round was very formal with more of HR questions. The same day the recruiter POC told me he will initiate my hiring process and not to worry.
Got CTC breakup details after 5 days of client round which i accepted. Got offer letter after 2 days of CTC breakup acceptance.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1st round- MVC lifecycle, How you send data to View from controller, some SQL join related questions
2nd round- EF Code first questions, write same query using LINQ and extension methods, some question related to EF code first migrations, then early loading, lazy loading, explicit loading etc. then some question related to Agile methods(scrum calls, sprints, git flow, tasks etc).
HR- brief intro, why you want to join TCS, etc etc
Client- why you want to join TCS, 5 years from now where do you see yourself, how you travel to work, your family background, Education background
