Interview
I recently went through the interview process at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and overall, it was a smooth and well-organized experience. The process consisted of multiple stages:
Online Assessment:
The first step was an online test that covered aptitude (quantitative, logical reasoning, and verbal ability) and basic programming questions. The test was well-structured, and the difficulty level was moderate.
Technical Interview:
After clearing the online test, I was invited for a technical interview. The interviewer asked about core concepts related to [mention your area: e.g., Java, Python, data structures, DBMS, OOPS, etc.]. There were also questions on problem-solving and a few scenario-based questions. The interviewer was friendly and gave me time to explain my thought process.
Managerial/HR Interview:
The final round was a combination of managerial and HR questions. I was asked about my strengths, weaknesses, projects, career goals, and willingness to relocate. They also discussed company policies, work culture, and compensation.
