Interview
I was interviewed through Skype. Very Easy HR interview. She was super friendly, and she knew a lot about the roles at TCS. She was able to set me up for the location that I wanted so I didn't have to move. She was understanding about my goals.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Hyderabad) in Jan 2016
Interview
I got mail from HR through Naukri. HR scheduled F2F interview after confirming time with me. When i reached the venue, i came to know it is a walk in drive. I completed 1st technical at around 11:30 AM and it was very good. They did not give me feedback immediately even after asking 2-3 times to HR. They simply told to wait. I waited till 4:30 PM and again asked to HR, then only i knew that i was not selected. That could be done after interview, what is the point of keeping me wait till 4:30 PM. This is totally unprofessional.
Below is what i felt from this interview.
There is huge gap between recruitment team and their interview panels about career criteria. Their recruitment team cheating applicants and showing more no. of applicants he/she is inviting. Their interview panels are not considering who has not throughout 60% in academics.
If you don't have throughout 60% then don't go for TCS , no matter how good your technical round. TCS only knows throughout 60%. If you have you will be lucky for that day.
