Tata Consultancy Services Software Developer interview questions

The interview process was smooth and well-structured. It started with an online assessment that included aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic coding questions. After clearing the assessment, I was called for the interview round which included both technical and HR questions. The interviewer asked questions related to core Java concepts such as OOP principles, inheritance, polymorphism, and basic data structures like arrays and strings. Some basic SQL queries were also discussed. The interviewer was friendly and gave hints when I was stuck. In the HR round, questions were mostly about my background, strengths, weaknesses, and willingness to relocate. Overall, the experience was positive and comfortable. The difficulty level was moderate for a fresher.

Interviewer was more interested in female candidates. In my college, for male candidates , he was asking programming questions and basic DSA, For female candidates, things were different , question like which movie you watched last weekend, tell me the story of it etc were asked.
