As part of the Tech Mahindra recruitment process, I first undertook two online assessment rounds designed to evaluate problem-solving and algorithmic thinking skills. These assessments primarily focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), featuring questions of easy to medium complexity.
Upon successfully clearing the assessments, I was shortlisted for the in-person interview round held at Tech Mahindra’s Noida office, along with seven other candidates from my college. The interview process comprised two stages — a Technical Interview followed by an HR Interview.
During the Technical Interview, the panel assessed my understanding of core computer science fundamentals, including DSA concepts, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles, and project implementation details. I was also asked to elaborate on my internship experience, highlighting the technologies I worked with and the challenges I addressed.
The HR Interview focused on my adaptability, communication skills, and willingness to relocate. The discussion also covered organizational culture and compensation structure. The final offer extended to NIT candidates was a package of 7.5 LPA, reflecting the company’s recognition of technical talent and academic excellence.
