I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Teradata (Rancho Bernardo, CA) in Oct 2012
Interview
A conversation with two of the leads, with the normal walk around the campus. A few simple questions to figure out how I think and would deal with certain situations. No trick programming questions and none of the typical brain teaser interview questions. Then the department manager came in and offered me a job. From application to phone interview to job offer it was 1 week with 2 hours of interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Teradata (San Diego, CA) in May 2014
Interview
Initially became aware of the position through a LinkedIn job listing. There seemed to be a good match between the desired skills and my background. Did a phone screen with the hiring manager and with a recruiter and group interview with the team in the span of a week. Interviewed with a number of team members and 2 levels of management. Interview questions covered technical topics, software quality, agile/scrum methodology.
