I had a positive experience working with the company’s human resources/the recruiter and the interviewer was nice enough except after the phone screening they had to reschedule the initial interview with the hiring manager and then they ghosted me.
They will not sell you on the role, they’ll ask you one question and if you don’t answer it in a way that is “by the book” to them then you won’t get the job. My interview was set for 30 minutes and was over in 10. I kept selling my own skills to the interviewer to provide further context and was able to extend it by 15 minutes but no dice. Another issue was the lack of clarity in the job description that was then provided as a trip question in the interview.
