I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Teradata
Interview
Interviewed for a fairly senior position. Multiple rounds of interviews at senior levels. Positive experience to begin with. Needed to interview onsite so travel on my part was required.
Being in a senior position myself, and having hired dozens of employees over the years, I know what decency and interview protocol is. Where I used to work, it was just common courtesy (and mandated) to inform every candidate that has been interviewed the outcome. Why? Many otherwise qualified candidates who do not get a job offer for a specific role, but who had a positive experience, will then apply for other roles that open up for which they are a better fit.
That level of decency appears to be lacking at Teradata. After my 3rd onsite interview, I did receive communication that I should be hearing from them. That was a few months ago. Not a peep since then, Not a phone call, or a canned email - nothing. At the least I expected a canned email.
If this is the new Teradata culture, and how they treat candidates interviewing for senior roles, I can only imagine how they treat more junior candidates.
Needless to say, consider yourself warned. If you are qualified, expect to be called for one or multiple interviews, but do not expect to be notified unless it is a job offer.
