I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Teradata (Rancho Bernardo, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
It was pretty simple, a phone interview that lasted about 15 minutes. The hiring manager and my potential mentor were both on the call. They were friendly, seemed mostly interested in getting to know me and asking about my resume.

Question 1
Mostly about projects and general knowledge of databases
I applied online. I interviewed at Teradata (Zürich) in Apr 2017
Interview
Frustrating. Many stages, a lot of indecision, very political. Negative decision driven by politics. There doesn't seem to be a standardized interview or hiring practice in place. Bla bla bla bla bla

Question 1
Sustain a sales presentation in front of an audience
Multiple rounds of interviews. Started off with a phone call with hiring manager. Then a call with the recruiter. Next was a group presentation with hiring manager and multiple employees. After that was a face to face with director. Then reference check. Hiring manager was extremely indecisive. One of the most drawn out interview processes I have ever experience. Very unprofessional behavior. My recommendation...let the recruiter handle the interview process. Learn how to say know instead of dragging candidates through multiple interviews only to keep them waiting. Couldn't pay me to reapply for a position in the same department.
