I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Teradata (London, England) in Feb 2017
Interview
It was a three phase interview.
1. A technical test to be completed online within limited time.
2. A telephone interview around experience + technical questions.
3. A face to face interview.
I was successful in the first two interviews, and I was asked to commute from Leeds to London with a promise that I will be refunded the travel costs within a couple of days. Unfortunately, it has now been a month and I still have not received my refund. (which unfortunately was a significant amount)
The face to face interview was really odd. I do interviews myself, but his interview was really strange.
There was barely any question around my previous experience, or what I'm capable of. Hardly any technical or behavioral questions. The only questions were around how I would ensure following of different processes. But I appreciate that every person has their own style, and I don't mind their decision. I already had multiple offers elsewhere.
What I would have liked is some concrete response for rejection so that I can take it into account to improve further. Also, I find it unacceptable that I'm not getting the promised refund for the train ticket. Furthermore, I'm not even being given a date as to when I will receive this. The recruitment agent is saying that it is not their mistake, as they are not getting a response from Think Big. I have the emails to prove all of the above.
I really hope that someone from HR in Think Big reads this and try and sort things out. I really liked the company on the face and would have liked to join. But after this experience, I'm thinking that it is a blessing that I was not made an offer. I also sincerely hope that I was one of the unlucky ones, and this does not happen to everyone.

I spoke to an engineer at the career fair and someone followed up with me within a week or so. I had a phone interview scheduled with an engineer and it was mostly behavioral with some questions about my background and knowledge on certain skills I listed on my resume and projects.
