I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Tesla (Austin, TX) in May 2022
Interview
Every interview process will begin with a phone screening from a recruiter. The conversation is very informal and typically used to make sure you are who you say you are and are willing to meet the job requirements before they proceed. You will be asked why you want to work at Tesla and you will be expected to express your enthusiasm towards their mission and culture. From here, you will begin to schedule various technical screenings with team members, senior management, and hiring managers. If you seem to be a good fit then you will be provided the opportunity for an in person presentation and panel interview.
