I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (Austin, TX) in May 2026
Interview
This was a strange online interview with an AI bot. They let you do a test but when you take the actual interview you cannot modify responses. You have one chance to redo your answer and that is the one they proceed with. You can't use the first response if you do a second.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tesla (Fremont, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
The process was standard for the manufacturing industry. It began with an initial HR screening call, followed by a technical interview with the hiring manager focusing on SQL and Excel. Finally, I had a panel interview with the operations team to discuss how data analysis can improve supply chain efficiency and production output.

Not too hard, not to easy! Be prepared for live coderpad questions for SQL and also Pandas. Messy data can be asked to clean and generate insights as to show to stakeholders.
