I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tesla (Austin, TX) in Sep 2022
Interview
The interview process began with an HR screening. Then I interviewed one on one with the hiring manager. Then I interviewed with a panel of employees. Then I had another follow up interview with the hiring manager. Finally, had an interview with an upper manager.
I participated in an extensive interview process that spanned multiple rounds, including technical and behavioral assessments. The process involved in-depth discussions with engineers and several interviews with managers, providing a comprehensive evaluation of both my technical expertise and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams within the organization.
First called for the screening then an interview with a senior engineer of the hiring team. Asked question related to my experience and then asked technical questions related to the powerwall. Some of the things I learned 13 years ago and didn't know that they will ask from them and also never got any clue that they will deeper like that. Though maybe they were easy and should have known but as I did not work on that line for a long time I forgot most of them.
