I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Henderson, NV) in Dec 2024
Interview
Recruiter Rachel Hawkins was wonderful and I was truly excited about this opportunity; I was asked to meet with two Sales Managers and I have to say that was the most awkward and unprofessional interview I’ve ever experienced, Not friendly, Barely reciprocated to receive my hand shake before and after. Unprofessional, didn’t take notes and I managed to finally get one of the managers to smile towards the very end. Let’s just say they just both looked at me robotic, with no enthusiasm kinda like this emoji 😳 and I brought lots of high energy, but it wast reciprocated. It definitely seems like it’s a bro world. Tesla loss not mine. I’ve got 15 yrs of sales experience and always ranked Top 10% this role was entry level.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Peking, Peking) in Jan 2019
Interview
Long and tensive, but finished in 6 hours. Group Interview, turn by turn, every candidate who failed in certain questions will be ask to leave and there were only 2 candidate left and waiting result. After the long exhausted interview, there was a test drive, to let a PS to tell you the mission, goal, and why the car is the best, why Tesla is not a car production company, why Tesla has long vision than any-other. Interview started at 3pm, finished at 9:30 pm. Really Tired
