You have to know a ton about tesla. Read all 10-k/ 10-Q reports and listen to all conference calls. Tesla is looking for people in love with the mission, so if you are not you may not be the best fit.

First round is 30 minutes (2-3 behavioral questions) and then a technical case study involving Excel and knowing how to calculate gross margin and profit margin, review tesla products, know how to give your interpretation of the numbers

Made it through two rounds and got a rejection after. Had a pretty typical first round (mostly behavioral) and the second round was a bit more technical, asking about basic financial concepts and how it would relate to the team’s work on supply chain contracts, with some behavioral questions there too
