Tesla interview questions

Process was decent: 2 phone interviews followed by an onsite interview Maybe I was unlucky, but had a terrible experience. Rather than focusing on knowledge, plenty of useless questions were asked. Things such as "what are your weaknesses" and " where do you see yourself in 5 years" Really???? You expect me to know where I'm in 5 years whereas you guys don't even know weather you'll exist then. Please don't get me wrong, I love Tesla and truly appreciate the technology, just hoped they had better experienced people to conduct my interview. I get it that it's a pretty young company, but at some point you guys got to be professional in the interview process. You were hiring an experienced engineer, not an intern.

The engineer reached out to me and asked for my availability for a spring internship, I sent the resume to him and the HR helped us to set up an interview.
