I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Carson, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
wow the whole process took forever, i applied like a month, month and a half ago. then they i had to do a phone interview, then i had to go to the store. i got there 20 mins early and didnt get seen until 2 hours until after my appt. then they asked me if i could come back and meet the store manager 4 hours later. i had a feeling i was gonna get the job so i made sure i didnt pee in case they sent me for a test. long story short took another 2 hours waiting before i actually got to see the store manager. then i almost wasnt allowed to test because the drug test stopped doing tests 15 mins before i got there. i was nice and convinced them to let me pee. the stupid background check took longer than it does when i buy my guns..smfh its not like its a national security job or something.
