I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Oct 2012
Interview
Honestly, I was overqualified for the job so the interview was very basic. The store manager asked me give an example of when you had to lead people and give an example of when a client was not happy with your work or unhappy with the outcome. Apparently there are more questions but those are the only ones I know of.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Industry, CA) in Apr 2009
Interview
The HR manager was pleasant, and polite. He asked thorough questions to assure that I would be a good fit with the rest of the team and the demands of the department. The process was pleasant and fairly quick.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Birmingham, AL) in Oct 2009
Interview
I applied for a position at a store that was newly built. I orginally went with my sister and decided to apply myself. They had paper applications and they were set up at the Jameson Inn because the store was not yet suitable for people. It took them about 3 weeks to contact me because my number was wrong. They actually contacted me at the jobs I was employeed at and my manager told me they called. After I completed my first interview I had a second interview and I was offered a job. The pay was more than I expected but I still negotiated for a little bit more.
