I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot in May 2013
Interview
I applied at Home Depot for the Freight Team Associate. I got a call from their Hiring Center 2 days later. The phone interview consisted of Yes/No questions, fairly simple. I was then given a in-person interview at the local Home Depot. I went in for the interview and was nervous, even the person interviewing me sensed I was nervous because I stuttered when answering the questions. I know I did bad, but the interviewer said I did decent for my first interview. He then told me I was better suited for as a Cashier than Freight Team Associate. And he may call me the next day or next week if I get chosen, even mentioned signing papers/getting a physical.
Now I just got the interview done today but according to many other reviews they apparently hire/schedule the 2nd interview on the spot. So I get the feeling I won't be getting the job.
