I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2011
Interview
The interview process included a 30 minute phone interview with a current manager which was mostly behavioral questions. After the phone interview was a day long "assessment". There were multiple candidates on the same day. The assessment included a 30-45 minute presentation from current managers about what the job is like. The rest of the day included an hour long one on one interview, a group case study under observation, individual case study and presentation, lunch with current associates, and an IQ test similar to an SAT type test.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Oxford, AL) in Jan 2013
Interview
The interiew was very easy. I was interviewed on the phone first. Then, I was scheduled an in store interview for two days later. All of the employees were very nice. My in store interview was the easiest I have ever had. It was like I was interviewing with a best friend. At the end of the interview, I was given the job offer. It was a great experience. I start orientation next friday.
