I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Merrimack, NH) in Mar 2011
Interview
Received an automatied phone call that sent me to a phone operator for a quick and unprepared for interview, but mostly easy questions. Received a call a couple days later to come in for a in store interview. Met with the store assistant manager and had a quick 30 min interview with general questions nothing probing. Interview was laid back and answered all my questions. Received another call a couple days later to come in again and was offered a position.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2012
Interview
I went in and they basically asked questions that a typical retail company would ask such as "Why do you want to work in tool rental" and "what is your previous experience working with customer?" It was really easy and it didnt seem like they would turn anyone down unless they couldnt pass a drug test. It is very helpful to know someone to get any interview because that can be the hard part of just getting an interview. Overall EASY!
