The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied on line & was called within days by the recruiting team. They told me I would be receiving a call from an assistant in the Dept. I was applying for. 2 hours later she set an appointment with me to come in and talk to her boss & a Human Resource Manager the next day. They came to the waiting room to get me right at the time the interview was set up for. Interviewed for 45 minutes. Very good interview. Questions to the point and not the same question worded differently 3 times. Very nice group of people.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2010
Interview
The initial interview was a phone screen with 1 of the 3 members in the team. The phone screen primarily was a discussion of my resume and types of experience with a few behavioral questions. Within the next week, I was in the office for an interview. This process was awful because someone from HR picked up myself and two others in the lobby, walked us all to the same area, and divided us into 3 conference rooms. The 3 interviewers tooks turns swapping rooms, and I felt a lot of pressure to be interviewing at the same time as my competition. There was one person who asked me to analyze a situation on the spot. I walked him through how I would approach the question and what information I would use, but he wanted an actual calculated dollar amount. At that point, I knew they wouldn't extend me an offer.
