The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2010
Interview
very basic interview format - 1st is a phone screen, the 2nd consists of a very easy interview where the person just reads a series of behavioral questions from the packet. Very disappointed because the process seems geared towards satisfying HR mandates than finding qualified applicants
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Minneapolis, MN) in Feb 2008
Interview
I was called by HR after applying on line. I had applied for a couple of areas in the store and pleased that I was called in for Kitchen Design/Sales. I met with HR and the Dept Head. I had projects with me and they were pleased that I was qualified and that I could sketch. It was easy to get the job because the store needed people and I had good background experience.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Plano, TX) in Sep 2010
Interview
Phone interview in which I answered set questions. It was very broad and just used basically to get in the system. Face to face interview came next and in this the interviewer expected well thought answers and attempted to thoroughly understand my personality and application to the team. A second interview came weeks later in which I was given an offer.
