I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Brick, NJ) in Jan 2019
Interview
Very quick and easy, basic noninvasive interview questions like experience based and situational based questions (what would you do if X? Name a time when you X.) nothing personal or too in depth
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2023
Interview
I got the interview with Home Depot for this position through a recruiting company (Insight Global). I had a phone call screening through them and then a 30-minute interview with the two people I'd be reporting to. Everything was done remotely, as this was a remote role. The interview was alright, they didn't really interact with me much, moreso each other. It was not a naturally flowing conversation, it seemed more like they had already decided I wasn't a good fit from the start and just interviewed me as a formality and because I had reached out to the recruiter. Most of anything I said/ answered was met with dead silence. I asked what project I could potentially be working on (which I thought was a normal question to ask for a project management role), and I was told that they weren't working on anything right now and that they were conducting more interviews over the next 5-6 days. At that point, I was like, noted. This was a waste of my time. They said they'd get back to me with feedback in a few days it's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard back from a single person, no feedback, no rejection, or anything. Their silence was enough. Don't call people in for interviews, if we never had a chance from the beginning.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why marketing? What is your managing style? Tell me about a time where you've faced an issue with deadlines not being met, what did you do.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Livonia, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
Basically they just interview to see what you're like in person. You talk to one of the ASM's and the manager of the department you are planning to work in.
