The Home Depot interview questions

There was no in-person interview, just a basic behavioral OA, at the end of which I was automatically offered a job. A drug test was listed as a requirement, but they never made me do one.

Applied for a role, heard nothing back for 1 month. Then I find out through a connection on LinkedIn that they are only interested in an internal candidate. I cannot fathom how this is legal. Have the decency to give a timely decision. I was laid off, am on unemployment and am trying to support my family. You are wasting my time and energy at a time when all my resources need to be directed to getting a real job.
