I had 3 video interviews with various people after the initial recruiter call. I also had to take an assessment. They said the assessment piece was good for a year and since the job I applied for was filled before the end of the process they said they were looking other possible opportunities, but nothing came out of it.

Question 1
Talk about a time where you had to motivate your team.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview consists of 4 steps: an initial screening call with the recruiter, a technical screening, a behavioral interview and “fit interviews” with different teams. I originally applied for an APM role but got shoved down the path for a PM role, even though I was upfront that I knew my skills may not be good enough for that role in the corporate world, given I came from the non-profit space. I passed my technical screen and my interviewer for that said I did really well (the recruiter later told me I barely passed it?). I then did the behavioral interview (SIG they call it), and those questions were WAY more technical than the original screening, when I was told they wouldn’t be technical at all. At the end of that interview I asked my interviewers if they had any reservations I could try and address and they said no they thought I would be great. I then find out I failed that interview… The entire process just felt very deceitful and I was really disappointed given the reputation of the company. After that the recruiter completely ghosted me and haven’t heard back about the role I actually applied to…
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process was a phone call with the hiring manager which would have been followed by an onsite. I was interviewing for a position on the mobile app team. The questions were mostly related to culture fit and behavioral experience.
