The interview followed a set script of six questions. They were fairly straightforward and did not contain any trickery. There is not much more to say. The interviewer did ask why I wanted the job since I was over qualified, but accepted my answer and made a conditional offer, contingent on passing a drug test, on the spot. The most difficult part of the process was finding the testing lab in the next town up the interstate, then having to come back early the next morning because the place was closed.

Question 1
The most difficult question pertained to dealing with customers in a retail setting. It was difficult for me because this is the first retail job I've had.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Omaha, NE) in Oct 2012
Interview
Process is smooth and applicants receive quick (within a few days) on whether they will be selected for an interview shortly thereafter, or if their application will be kept on file for future openings. The interview questions are to the point and job related, shunning the type of questions that job seekers love to hate: no brain teasers, no mind probing.
