Interview
I was very transparent with the recruiter about my salary expectation in our first conversation. Went through multiple interviews and when I expected to hear the offer, the recruiter admitted that my expectation is beyond the max they could pay for the position.

Interview
It was a long process, 8 interviews in total. I really wanted the job, liked the team but in the end it felt that offering a low salary was preferred over qualifications and experience. The recruiter was confusing and didn't seem to take my required salary to the mgmt team from the beginning as I never would have agreed to interview if they wouldn't even consider my range. It seems like it would be a good experience from someone lower level.
