After a brief telephone conversation with a technical recruiter who described the role, emphasising the travel requirement, I was asked to complete a technical coding exercise. I had 3 days to complete and submit this exercise which was then reviewed by a member of the ThoughtWorks team. There was a delay on finding out if I had passed the coding exercise as they were busy. After I had passed the coding exercise, I had a friendly and detailed telephone interview with a member of the ThoughtWorks team who quizzed me on my technical and consulting skills
