Please don't waste your time in interviewing with TW. I wasted my 2 months here. Their first round is coding assignment. HR gave me one problem statement and asked me to submit it in 3 hours. I submitted it on time. Then till one month no reply. I sent her so many emails for updated but she didn't reply once. And after one month tada I received her mail saying that I got selected in first round and soon she will arrange code pairing round and she asked me to submit date of my availability. After that for 20 days no reply. I sent her an update email but still no reply..then she called me after 20 days and told me that she is arranging code pairing round day after tomorrow.. my code pairing round went well, even I read that refactoring book which they recommend. But after all this I got system generated rejection email. Their recruitment process is so slow and so pathetic.. please don't waste your time and efforts..
Quite simple & clear process.
1. Applied through their career site
2. Got a call from recruiter team the very next day
3. The recruitment coordinator was quite professional & upfront & did a initial round of screening
4. Explained the process thoroughly & provided some links to go through.
5. Called just before the interview day to check if things were fine.
6. Provided the constructive feedback post the discussion with panel.
So in all a very professional & clear approch
Keep it up.
I recently applied at Thoughtworks Gurgaon. Interview mainly contains 3 rounds, but I would specifically like to mention about third round that was system design. I had a very bad experience. The interviewer was really rude, and plagued superiority complex . He was biased and totally non receptive of candidate's answers. Thoughtworks should have interviewers who are informative and should be polite. I would say, this is not the company one should join. Thoughtworks Gurgaon is just a below average company having hallucinations about moral and ethical values while these are far from reality in thoughtworks (Gurgaon). Thoughtworks image is just a media stunt. Candidate review doesn't matter at all.
